Why another community?
You might be thinking why have yet another community when so many already exist online. You're right. But there are major problems with them:
- Facebook's algorithm buries group posts
- Twitter moves too fast and isn't built for discussions.
- (Almost) All free Slacks drown in spam and self-promotions.
Not to mention it's a firehose of information with a very low signal to noise ratio.
Finding a vetted peer group online is surprisingly hard.
So we built one.
Operators Guild was created to give Shopify app and agency teams a vetted, invite only and moderated place where meaningful conversations can take place.
